HTC Dream to Hit T-Mobile Late October, Says Latest Rumour

Previously we'd told you a September 23rd launch date for HTC's Android-packing Dream, after a whole suite of predictions, and now there's a new one: the Wall St. Journal is saying "late October." That's on T-Mobile, and it's the announcement that's due September 23rd according to the standard "people familiar with the matter." Watch this space for more info. [WSJ]

Good, I can't wait till this phone comes out because I'm going to get it for my brother (who has T-Mobile) and I'll play with it for a couple of days and learn it inside and out and test the Android OS. I'll teach my brother how to use it afterwards of course... I have a feeling he'll need alot of assistance with it because he is coming from a Blackberry Curve and he loves it.

Well I always knew it would only be the announcement on the 23rd, but god damn it. Hurry up. I need a new phone and I don't want a blackberry! I just hope the final product looks better than this spy shot.

I couldn't care less about the Dream, not a fan of it's specs. But I do appreciate the market it's going for with hopefully a lower price point then other HTC phones (w/ contract).
I'm more interested in seeing what other phones will be compatible with Android in the near future. Sony recently announced the Xperia line would not be exclusive to WM. Coincidence?

I'm all for something new in the market. I'm on a BB right now, and like it fine, but I certainly don't mind being tempted by something else...
