ROCKBAND is a great game when it was released in november 2007 ! and i bought a american version for my ps3 and have been playing it for a long time now, but what australia should be getting is ROCKBAND 2 which has better everything over world tour, but it looks like we are getting all the out of date games and controllers. rock band 2 has wireless drums with cymbols, wooden guitars and more !

At least these guys know how to make a world wide release and understand the market as to which they are selling to. I’ve always been a fan of the guitar hero series and it’s good to hear they’ve got another game soon to be released. I’ve already pre-ordered the game from my local store and they said the price is going to AU$329. Which isn’t too bad for the drums, guitar, microphone and the game. Sounds like it will be some good fun. Happy gaming.

I held out for so long for Rockband. EA have lost my money.
Guitar Hero World Tour now has it.

At least Activision are trying to keep us in the loop. I wouldn't have minded so much if EA had at least given some news. Instead they've been silent and making those of us in Australia lose faith in Rockband.

Still no Rock Band? Wow thats slow. I bought Rock Band 1 Special Edition in Hong Kong in July and carried it back on the plane!! Best investment ever, LOVE it to death.

Even though I have no cash and no room for either, I still can't quite fathom why EA/Harmonix have not released Rock Band yet. It seems not only a massive slap in the face to Aussie gamers but just plain stupid business sense. This is made even moreso with the (comparitively) strong Aussie dollar.

Hears hoping Guitar Hero does well enough to make EA realise thier mistake for future titles they may wish to hold onto.

The gaming industry wouldn't be doing this and cutting into real musicians territory if it wasn't about the bottom dollar. They are making MEGA on everyone that buys into it. The gaming equipment costs enough and soon injuries from bad technique will be on the rise.

If Rockband had have been released here at a reasonable time, there is no way that GH4 would do half as well as it's about to.
