Daewoo Takes Room Divider into 21st Century: Digital Screens in the Screen
Posted by Kit Eaton at 9:13 PM on September 4, 2008
Folding screens (that occasionally useful piece of furniture, and classic movie prop) get a dab of 21st Century tech with the DID-FS from Daewoo. The old-fashioned wooden frame is there, but supplemented by four LCD widescreens, mounted vertically. That leaves you free to choose what pictures you're using to break up your living space into themes. It'll probably leave you with an empty wallet too, given current LCD prices for displays that big, but there's no info on pricing or availability. That doesn't stop me from lusting after this though... maybe I can achieve the same effect with some MDF, a Dremel and a couple of cheapo LCD photo frames from the local store? [Born Rich]

I would use this, and put on the screens pictures of the oldest, wrinkliest tits I could find. To avert the eyes of onlookers trying to catch a glimpse of my magnificant shlong.

Those look like doors hinged together with LCD's in place of the windows.... Holy crap that would be expensive. And heavy! I hope they provide some sort of super protective pad to go between the panels with it's folded up.

@ps61318: Yeah, didn't you hear? To counteract the new iPod Nano design, Microsoft has released these spy photos of the new Zune Mammoth. And as we can see, it easily attaches to other Zune Mammoths as part of "The Social"!!

I wonder where the wires are supposed to go. I mean, if this is a room divider, wouldn't it be placed...oh, I dunno, in the middle of a room? Bet that power cable is mighty attractive running across the floor connected to an orange extension cord so you can actually reach the outlet.
