I have a just a few suggestions for future liveblogs, first, copy the entire thing and make it a post that can be accessed at any time, as opposed to a few pages of liveblog that doesn't stay up forever. Also, I will sadly be in high school during these events and am at a lack of computer access. So, I think using twitter or some other service to send out text messages recapping announcements in short stories that I could finish during passing periods. Such as "New iTouch in 16, 32, and 64 GB flavors priced at $250, $350, and $450 respectively. Adds physical volume buttons on left side along with a more curved shape to complement the iPhone."
Maybe sentence by sentence texts due to my 160 character limit with the ability to opt-in depending on how the story is tagged. I realize this would be difficult, but if worked out well, it could cater to a much larger audience than you might think. (those with nosy coworkers checking their screens to make sure work is getting done, students who un-installed their browsers to focus on a paper that is due tomorrow and not use wikis as 'research'"

@Utahcon: When I got my new MINI, I was wicked excited that it supported RDS. The day I took delivery I played with it the whole way back from the dealership.. very neat.

Since then I've turned on the FM radio only by accident, usually while switching from my iPod to carputer.

And as far as wireless purchases? Pfft. Great, you can buy DRM'ed up crap anywhere you have an open Wireless AP. Same goes for Apple. I don't care if they make it so easy I only need to *think about* buying the song...if it's got DRM I won't bother.

I think at this point the only thing that would get me excited about apple product is if they come out with small internet tablet thing that has both wifi and 3G (free unlimited like the Kindle). That or an iPod touch with 64GB, GPS, and A2DP. Otherwise, what's the point? My 800w can do everything these can do, albeit not quite as ellegantly, but still! Just need some 16GB (or better yet 32GB or 6GB) MicroSD's to come out and I'll be set.

I've had no problems... it even came up and replaced my desktop background with one saying "Warning, your computer is infected!" with a bright red background and a white skull and crossbones and replaced my homepage with one that had all kinds of useful links to current antivirus programs on it!! I ended up getting this one called WinAntivirusPro2007. I thought the name was great and it got awesome reviews on it's site, and only took a couple of minutes to download and install. It even disabled my Norton 2003 for me!!!

But I agree, A2DP REALLY would compliment the iPod Touch and iPhone, and it's ridiculous that we don't already have it, especially on an Apple product since they are so trendy and what-not. I just don't understand what you people are talking about, why would Touch be cheaper (maybe like $20 or $50 and that will be it) You all say that Touch should drop in price because iPhone is $199, but its that price after you sing up for 2 year contract with At&t who covers the rest of the price because they make money off of you when you pay them monthly rate for your cellphone service. I don't see anyone signing any contracts for Touch so the price wont be below iPhone.
Check this out:
Iphone 3g w/2year contract $499-$300 by At&t = $199
Iphone 3g no contract = $499
Ipod Touch no contract = $279 (after $20IR from RadioShack)

So don't get your hopes up!
Apple controls their prices like crazy, $20IR on Touch at RadioShack was 100% approved by Apple that means there is either new Touch coming out or it will be slightly cheaper then existing Touch.

@Hanzo, I really don't care about whether or not something has DRM, that is what soundtaxi and other DRM ripping tech is for. I use a Zunepass anyways, so long story short, as long as I keep paying my $15/month I will never have a problem. Then again if I stop paying I won't either, thanks to soundtaxi.

@dfetzer: I think the mockups we've seen are fake since there's been no removal request from Apple. That said, if these are the real nanos then I predict the scroll wheel to be weighted so that when you turn it landscape the clickwheel turns with it and menu is maintained at the "top" of the circle.
