Once upon a time phillips was a major force . My father worked for them in the 80&#039;s when they were a major player in the evolution of the cd and optical media. I remember going to there facility in melbourne, which at the time was quite sizable. It was a very impressive organisation. But with differing worldwide trends , competition its now leaving. &lt;/p&gt;</description>
