WowWee Femisapien Fembot Gets Thorough, Semi-Naughty Video Shakedown

As the folks at Robots Rule show in this video, Femisapien is "smart, funny, can dance up a storm and perform skits with you." What a gal. Here we get a demo of just about every feature imaginable, including Fashion Pose mode, Backup Singer mode, Business Card Handout mode--you get the idea. All fine and dandy. And then, there's this music video, where things get serious...with whips. I kid you not.
As you can see, the production value is prit-tay high. Yes, Femisapien can wield a whip to discipline Robosapien. Yes, she can shake her arse. Something tells me this is only the beginning of BDSM-tinged Femisapien vids. Guess that's what you get when you bring to market a programmable fembot with a molded plastic rear. Femisapien should be shipping soon to the US for US$99. [Robots Rule]

I like how the way to interrupt anything is a "head tap".
There's definitely something a little misogynistic brewing about, but I'm not going to go there.

Too bad gizmodo can't show us something femisapien does that's specific to a female robot besides having female shaped plastic parts & losing the claws of robosapien. Anyone could do the same job with a Korean servo robot & putting female pieces of plastic on it.

Whoa, whoa, whoa . . . . you mean to tell me they've invented a femisapien that learns when you tap her on the head, stops when you put your hand in her face, knows her place in the presence of a male robot and can shut the hell up when you need her too??!!! GOD I love technology!!! If only there were a way to get a little femisapien in a stock human, life would be GRAND!!

OK, remember when a long time ago, there was a guy on the Colbert Report saying that we'll be having sex with robots in the future? I remember that it was highly criticized by Gizmodo readers. I am strongly opposed to the idea of sex with robots, but looking at this (and how the guy calls the robot "she"), I'm starting to think a lot of people would go for it. I'm scared to think that some guy will actually masturbate to Fembot's sexy dancing. We're slowly heading in that direction, and I'm scared.

@stevegel: You could probably teach it the up/down stroking movement. With both of her hands... might take a while to train depending on how long you want her to do it. Or i guess keep waving your hand in front of her face, but that pretty much defeats the purpose...

I know I'm anthropomorphizing way too much, but the hand waving in front of its face interface seems rude.
A little more improving and these things will be a gold mine of research subjects in anthropology, sociology and psychology. However, the results will probably make us hope that no other intelligent being ever finds out we exist, because this [hijinksensue.com] is what we will be doing.
