Well, one guy admitted that he shouldn't have one because he drops things a lot. Very good reason. Better then buying one, dropping it every time he tries to use it and then complaining that it's crap.
As for myself. I like my iPhone. And this is coming from a person that pretty much swore off cell phones after the last smart phone that I owned (moto mpx-220).

Don't know about you all but most rap fans I see in the Boston area (including non-black rap fans) carry the Sidekick. How do I define a rap fan? Those that tend to dress up like Run DMC or that have their pants down past their ass are the obvious ones and they do mostly carry a blinged out Sidekick or just a normal Sidekick.

So, for the sensitive readers here, there's plenty of non-blacks that do this too and I see those using Sidekicks as well or any other phone that's not iPhone.

Any rate, I was surprised that "Bootie Brown" brought up Office document handling, as this is a big detractor for me (and I have an iPhone). It can view some docs, but true document handling is still a total pain. But it makes me wonder how many office documents Bootie deals with, and needs to access on his mobile.

So, -1 for not understanding that the iPhone can text, +1 for mentioning that the document handling is poor.

1. The video is about rappers.

2. Most of the people featured in the video are black.

@ps61318: There are plenty of rap songs about Christmas ("Christmas in Hollis" by Run DMC and "Santa Baby" by everyone ever come to mind), hip hop artists talk about ending poverty all the time, and education (I just watched a video today in fact of Young Jeezy hosting an event for 350+ children and gave them all new school supplies for the year, and Big Boi from OutKast breeds dogs as a side business. And that's just off the top of my head, so I'd say that there are many more facets to these guys than they are given credit for. Not to mention the art they create.

Mattisyahu was just a regular hippie Phish follower who got famous in a majority black field by wearing a hat and growing a beard. Not only is he not respecting the roots of the music he performs (which I happen not to like), but he is also exploiting his faith for popularity with this lame gimmick.

Cool post, always curious as to what other people think about things (that I've dedicated a lot of thought myself to). Reading through some of the comments can be very frustrating though (and yet I still do it). I think there's a lot of ignorance here about black people, "hip-hop" and rappers. I don't mind the ignorance in it's pure form, but when people are so happily ignorant, and content to run with their own ideas about other people, it makes me wonder why they would watch the vid in the first place, or even be on the net for that matter.
