Tie Fighter Advanced X1 Webcam: Vader Records Your Private Moments

The cat is out of the bag--Darth Vader is a sick, perverted voyeur. First he sat atop your computer monitor and watched your every move. Now he his getting serious and starting to record the action (or lack therof) by using his Tie Fighter as a webcam. In addition to capturing audio, video and images, it also features sound effects from the movies. Just don't be surprised if your private moments end up all over the internet. Vader just can't be trusted with a YouTube account. Available soon for around US$33. [Play via Technabob]

This would go great with the Y-Wing I have glued to my one monitor. Plus it would add a juicy head on shot for my webcam, JerseyCam. I might just get this depending on it's resolution.

STAR WARS are so 1977, and they totally need to stay there. Lucas has failed us with his 1, 2, and 3. And with this new one. It is time to call Star Wars out for what it is- B movie trash. Stop with the toys.

At first I thought this was awesome, but that stand is hideous. Plus, I'm not sure I've ever actually used the webcam that I already have. What are they for again? Tricking girls into B-grade porn?

Ahh... the TIE Bomber. So many memories. Like junior year of college when I pissed off my roommate - a diehard Trekker who also was a fan of the Equalizer - by building a TIE Bomber model and painting it like an interstellar taxicab.

My 4 year old is making me take her to see the new Star Wars tomorrow. It just really confirmed to me who the new target audience is for this show. Well, that is if the Jar'Jar character didn't make it clear enough in Episode 1.
An obvious and strategic decision has clearly been made to ditch the 1979 fans that made this franchise a success and target the toyboxes of the kids of those same fans. I think anyone who buys this Tie Fighter, or $150 Milenium Falcon at Toys R US suffers from "beaten wife syndrome". This guy has given us the finger time after time and you keep buying his crap?
