How do I know which PSP 2001 it could be mode? They are different serial numbers in the 2001?

you cant hack any psp’s that come with 4.00 official firmware or higher. they have a new motherboard.

HELP PLEASE.
I have tried everything to hack my PSP slim with 4.05. but no matter what i do when i butt in my Pandora battery (1800MAH) nothing happens, I just get the green light (that's it) even when i hold the "L" button. I was wondering if i need the 1200mah battery for the slim and NOT the 1800?

Hey, I just bought the red God Of War PSP. I'm wondering if this would work for it. If no, is there any other way to hack it and get homebrew apps on it? What are the risks of doing it? Is there somewhere or someone I can send my PSP to to get it done?

Judging by my questions you might understand that I am new to this and know very little, but I'd appreciate it if I could get a response and help.

I just bought a ceramic white psp slim version 4.01.When i bought it,it wasn't modified and i heard from some people that it isn't possible to modify my psp has it is from a new stock/batch of psp consoles.please help!
