Dark Knight Xbox 360 Available On eBay For $Obscene

The limited edition Dark Knight Xbox 360 that Mark was willing to end his marriage for is now available on eBay. Bid fast and bid hard, cause they've only created 110 of these and not all of them are going to be scalped. The going price seems to be somewhere around US$1200, which is obscene even if it's a Dark Knight version. Even Bruce Wayne wouldn't buy one of these, and he buys hotels just so he can pee in its pool. [eBay via Gamertell]

Well since it's the 20 gig version they just discontinued for the 60 gig I think the math goes something like this
Dark Knight Xbox 360= $1200
shipping=$50
rrod=free

@Mr.SithNinja: Oh shit. You know that's a sick idea right? Why not? Airbrush the side of an Xbox with some movie or video game graphics, and hope you don't get sued before it sells on eBay for $1000. People do it with McFarlane toys all the time.

I will sell you my "custom" Elite. It is an Ultra-Limited Edition One-Of-A-Kind Step Brothers Elite! It has a picture of the drumset that Will Farrel T-Bagged on one side and a decal of Will Farrel and that Dewy Cox guy on the other! (ok so the decal was from Talledega Nights but only people who saw the movie would know the difference)

Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't there yet to be a Dark Knight game? Wouldn't this console make much more sense if there was a game tie-in?
They'd make more $$$ if they just made skins for the damn thing. Let me guess - they do. I dunno, I just play it. I could give a crap what it looks like.

Seriously, who cares about these kinds of limited edition consoles? I understand getting a cool color, but paying a premium for a logo of a movie slapped on the side doesn't make any sense to me.
