Console Modder Ben Heck Making Film Starring Giant Robotic Possum

It's called Possumus Woman, and he's almost done with it. I think this picture of Mr. Heckendorn fighting said marsupial in the back of a flatbed ("the most complex scene") kind of says it all--let us know when there's an Xbox 360 inside that robo-possum, Ben! [Ben Heck]

@AndyDuncan: I think woodchucks and badgers can trump a possum. I put 10 arrows point blank into a woodchuck to finally kill him.

C'mon Giz...we all know it's spelled Opossum with a big ole silent 'O' sitting out front. This movie should be silent as well. They could change the movie name to "Oh Possum" and make it a romantic comedy about a bumbling possum with a heart of gold that eats Oh Henry candy bars all the time...yeah that's right, I'm bored at work.

@barkolounger: Actually, possums are mean little fuckers. They can mess up a dog pretty good (Dog still usually wins, but often quite bloody).

Possums are the most lethal and least understood of the animal kingdom. Playing dead? I dont think so, just waiting for the right moment to pounce and lick your face off. The fact that there was no CGI and that Ben Heck was battling a real monster sized possum makes me cringe in fear for our favorite modders life. He truly is a modern day hero for saving our planet from this ant and bark-insect devouring menace.

Funny picture, but the name of the movie is a bit disturbing. I can understand Attack of the Giant Possum, or Terror Possum, or Dino-Possum, etc. But Possumus Woman brings this article to mind [gizmodo.com] , all that's missing is the Wii.

The looks like an opossum to me, and not a possum.
The difference is one is a group of quasi-rodent scumbags, and the other is a group of Australian marsupials (including my sugar gliders) that are awesome.

they certainly aren't rodents or even "quasi-rodents" (whatever the hell that means)... rodents and opossums aren't even related until you get up to the Class level... at which point they are both Class Mammalia. might as well say lions and whales and humans are "quasi-rodents" with that logic.

To anyone who's seen Possumus Man (Bens movie from 1995) you will notice the character he plays is an Australian, which would explain why this is a possum not an opossum. Possumus Woman is the sequal to the 1995 hit movie.
I'm looking forward to seeing it!
