BlackBerry Storm Has Multiple Personalities: is BlackBerry Thunder

So after much to-ing and fro-ing, it looks like BlackBerry Storms are BlackBerry Thunders ("...and violets are blue, I'm schizophrenic, and so am I" as a schoolyard song used to go.) The same device will bear two names: Storm for Verizon, Thunder for others like Rogers and Vodafone. It seems like there'll be an 8GB microSD card along with the phone, which has a 3.5mm headset jack, and pre-installed SIM card, though the box suggests there's no Wi-Fi. Something tells me that Verizon is going to slap their own shitty UI on this and then dance and prance around proclaiming that they have an even more killer iPhone-killer that Sprint's iPhone-killing Instinct.

Not every Blackberry has WIFI though. Maybe Verizon doens't want a wifi enabled BB device at first. Dunno why but it is possible.

@ksat: what makes you think there will be no GPS i dont know of a blackberry made that doesn't have GPS. you just may have to pay a little more to have verizon unlock it but it's there.

Actually, contrary to belief, schizophrenia is not related at all to have multiple personalities. I believe what you are thinking of is dissociative identity disorder. Schizophrenia refers more lifelike hallucinations. So if the thunder/storm was all just a figment of your imagination then schizophrenia would be correct.

I can understand the name for Rogers but why in the hell don't they just give it the same damn name for Verzion and Vodafone, since the sim in the Verizon version is probably a damn Vodafone chip.

I don't understand all the "no wifi?!?" screeching, as long as verizon's version has rev.A on it, I'll be happy.
and if mobipocket makes a reader for it, I'll be ecstatic.

@tridtaei: You're right dude. But it was a poem that did the rounds at school, where everyone's awareness of psychology is a little limited. Swap "multiple personality disorder" in to the words, and you kinda squash the joke. Yes?
