Well I'm not going to upgrade my G1 I'm happy with the current speed and the cell triangulation works great, don't see the need for GPS. Maybe if it had native video capture.

I'm just waiting for the 2.0 jailbreak and I'll get everything i need :)

@InfoMofo: yes and no. MMS send it to a phone. So I can send it to someone who does not have internet access on their headset. Not everyone has an iPhone yet...

I want the GPS but let's not forget he biggest fix is the headphone jack. I have two sets of high end headphones and neither would work with gen 1. A mistake that big makes me think they rushed it to market and Steve is over extending himself. Best ipod, please.
Now it cost more. I will take a new phone with the old plan even at $400 but $35 a month is a deal breaker.

@InfoMofo: I have many friends that have phones that don't send emails and so whenever they want to send me a picture the only way they can do that is to send in via MMS... not email.

If they won't give us MMS they need to at least give us an easier way to do the username/password type thing for the 'viewmymessage' website.

I disagree, web pages download A LOT faster and this ties up what was almost a breakthrough device into being a real breakthrough device. It's just that it was done in 2 steps, a year apart, so it doesn't seem like such a big deal. A million phones in one weekend, stunted by an agonizingly slow activation process? I think the world agrees.

I agree that Woz does seem to go out his way to make sure everyone knows how unimpressed he is by Apple's latest offering, whatever it happens to be. I don't know whether Woz is indulging in a little passive-aggressive behavior toward Apple or simply wants to tell us that he's so cool that *nothing* impresses him, but his general attitude is very off-putting to me, I must say.
