This is What Happens When You Combine Boba Fett, Flashdance and Fireworks
Posted by Jesus Diaz at 12:00 AM on July 5, 2008
This is what happens when you mix Boba Fett, Flashdance and fireworks: a brilliant, but somehow disturbing stop-motion animation, that's what. Damn you, Patrick Boivin, for mixing everyone's favourite Star Wars bounty hunter with the movie scene that made me horny for the first time. [Editor's Note: TMI!] On the other side, it could have been a lot worse:
Told you. [Club Jade]

I didn't know stop-motion could be so convincing! Great stuff...

I didn't realize Boba Fett was so graceful - well, up until half of his body was shoved through the wall.
Aside from contorting my face between laughter and confusion for a minute this video was ridiculous awesome.

So learning that dance will have one of three outcomes:
1. Young boys get horny.
2. I get a job at a brewery.
3. My jetpack malfunctions and I end up waist deep in drywall.
I'm gonna say #2 is worth the risk of the other 2. I've found purpose for my long weekend.

The guy who made it is from Phylactere Cola, probably the best video group of my little city of Quebec.
If you know french, click here to see some of their video.
Retro to the future was quite funny.

@CSX321: But not quite as impressive when you find out that like Jennifer Beals, the Bobba Fett toy didn't do all its own dancing. They hired a professional stop motion dance toy to double for the really hard stuff.

you know if the movie indian in the cupboard was even half as good as this then it would have been a cult classic.

Wow, that was impressive. They have human motion captured almost perfectly. If it weren't for the table and chairs, it could easily pass for a real person.

Superb! Brought a big smile to my face; that was really, REALLY well done. Wonder how long it took to make and how they accomplished Boba sauntering through the air.

@sqeakytoy of the apocalypse: Anybody hear that? It's an... It's an impact tremor, that's what it is... I'm fairly alarmed here.
Also, since that was a YouTube clip, does Viacom now know I watched a video with some guy in leg warmers and spandex?

I didn't remember the breakdancing part--all I remembered is the the legs, the legs, the legs, and then about six years later finding out they didn't belong to Jennifer Beals.
