Telstra's Store Openings For iPhone Revealed, But Data Pricing Still A Mystery
Posted by Nick Broughall at 4:42 PM on July 9, 2008
Telstra has given us an insight into where and when customers can pick up their NextG iPhone, although the specifics of their plans are still under wraps.
If you live in Sydney or Melbourne and can be bothered getting to the respective T Life store at 6am, then you could be one of the first Next G customers riding the iPhone wave. Other T Life stores around the country will open at 8am, including Chadstone (VIC), Hobart and Canberra.
The full list can be grabbed from Telstra's website.

On Monday I went to the T-Life store on Bourke and Swanston (Melb) to find out about pricing. The sales girl said they were being told/doing training on the iphone over the next 2 days so I'm expecting to walk in tomorrow to find out the full details.
The free hotspots are really selling it for me.... though I feel kind of dirty thinking I might be hopping into bed with Telstra for 24months.

I want to get one so bad but i live 2 1/2 hours from melb and I have to work in the morning :o( they won't even put one aside for me, I was gonna make a special trip just to get one on Saturday but I'm not going if they can't guarantee they will have one for me.

Somebody has leaked the training manual, including plan costs.
Trust me, there is little danger of Telstra selling out of phones. $5 for 5MB, $29 for 80MB. Lets party like its 1998!
