Sprint’s HTC Touch Diamond Gets Photographed By Digital Camera From 1998

Nothing confirms that Sprint is indeed getting the HTC Touch Diamond like a blurry picture of the phone posted in some forum. You can’t tell much, but you can see that TouchFLO 3D is still there, and that there’s a big yellow Sprint sticker on the top right where the, uh, front camera is supposed to be. Either there’s no front cam on this or your face is going to get a Sprint logo all over it during conversations (or it’s on the left, but we can’t make it out in this vaselined photo). PLANT!

Sorry, but this phone may be pretty, but it’s going to get pwned by iPhone 3G. The AppStore and new SDK offered by Apple is going to guarantee the kicking of some major butt. At this point everyone is trying (and failing) to keep up with Apple.

wow some of you are retards, and tanya i understand what you mean but you must select your words carefully so that retards can understand you!, ok art-tards listen up the sprint logo is on the left hand side of the phone (OMG really!) Yes, here is the simplest explanation, remember you’re staring at the front of the cell phone. say your tards were the size of a cell phone(like your brains!) and i was holding you in my right hand to look at your ugly faces, which hand would be your left hand, the one next to my right hand’s index finger or the one close to my right thumb……….think this through now……… just because your looking at an object doesn’t mean that its physical regions change locations, corresponding to your view , all object have a front a back, left a right, a top a bottom and all in between!

SW, Sprint is the worst. They say $99 everything, but then you’ll see a billing error and they will NEVER correct it. Contacting the FCC and BBB won’t help. Sprint IS the worst. Period. It’s worth the enormous cancellation fees.

Sprint’s customer service might suck, but no other carrier can beat the speed and cost of their data plans. I’ve had Sprint for years, and the only thing making me stay is their data network.

  • DOC

you kidding me that phone is mad sick kool…it will eat up the competition…GO SPRINT GO

  • Smitty

This phone rocks. I’m torn between the Instinct which I can get from Sprint now or waiting for this phone. And speaking of Sprint – I’ve never had a problem with them (at least nothing I haven’t also run into with AT&T or VZ). Their 3G network is blazing fast and beats AT&T or TMobile hands down.

I would like to have the phone but not with Sprint! Sprint service sucks the big one!!!

  • cole morris

Hahaha theres a reflection of a black white and red bunny
obviously stuck on something like the camera maybe?
that sticker comes with guitar hero 3 folks
thats hard to photoshop in to a reflection of a shiny phone
seeing as the kid does have the bunny backwards
also you can see a light shadow, that is aligned with the light reflection

either very good photoshopping or this kid has a damn nice phone

it looks like it might be a cool phone, but 2 major problems
#1– sprint need i say more
    #2– windows mobile

these 2 are terrible combinations!!! i can almost live with sprint!! but they screwed up big time going with windows mobile!! it’s the worst!!! good luck with that crap!!

they should have made their own operating system cause i wont go anywhere near the windows name!!!

  • brwalias

Ha Iphones endless apps? are you serious? do you not know of the thousand apps that are out there for windows mobile? and i mean THOUSANDS! theres so much you can die in app extacy lol I have a WM6 phone with a remote control app maybe iphone 3g will get one, oh wait no infared ha…..theres apps to remote into my comp. Shoot WM has apps to stream movies and music from your comp. Dont be so ignorant with all this Iphone app crap because there are SOOO far behind its not even funny. Well it is kind of funny actualy. This Diamond will be better and yes better with SPRINT. I have had sprint for 7 yrs with no problems. True ive seen customer service get bad since the nextel was in the mix but I personally havent had any bad experiences worth avoiding sprint.
Iphone 3G my ass, you do know its about 1.4mb speed right? ha top that with Sprints EVDO REV A….3MB buddy and still being improved. I actualy want an Iphone but its not worth the hype. let me see you send and a recieve something via bluetooth..oh wait you can only use it with a headset ha! not even Stereo bluetooth. This Diamond rocks and is not limited like your beloved Iphone 3G! ok enough flamming on these peoples lol
But damn that app stuff is getting anoying after i have sooo many apps already for my WM6 phone!

Rumors are this phone will be out for Sprint Sep 2nd. I see they are already crippling a great phone….the camera on the front is already gone so for sure there not ready for video calls yet :-(
