Each to his own i guess Elaine. I have to say looking at black bacround ans fisher price colored icons all day isnt all that fun....not to mention the constant light blue and checkerboard of the menus.

But hey, its always nice to execute a device before it released based on rumors and personal tastes.

@markarian: Hahaha you think that's high-end? If anyone knows high-end it's Nokia, I mean take a look at the Specks on the N96 all it's missing is a TS and a FM Transmitter has EVERYTHING else. Also the camera could be a 8 Mega-pixel but I trust there's a reason Nokia didn't go with that. Anyways Nokia stated themselves that they were making middle-range touch phones before they go make like N-Series ones...

In all truthfulness my interest in the tube has spiraled downwards. Not because i don't like Nokia but because I know they'll bring out the Killer Phone Next year.... Like the N95 or 2009...

For now though I'm still looking forward to the N96 that phone's gonna be mine the day it comes out here in SA

Who the hell has any real software on the computers at all now days; everything is better, more stable and gives you less spam/spyware. I've had spyware that was easier to uninstall than real player.

Personally I'm not a touch screen phone fan but damn there is a lot of hate. Seems like if its not a iPhone lets all hate it.

As for Real player, that has been on all nokia phones for a while, it is only used for video. Music is done through pretty decent app...at least on my N93, probably better on the newer phones.

Better UI - There is a easy theme editor to change all that or you dislike something else and I give you that
16GB - They make them, it is called a microSD card
Real Player - see above and it is not crappy like the pc versions
Opera - download it if you want it but I would use the superour webKit browser that nokia uses, on yea and it supports flash unlike some other phones i know.

Well, for all you haters out there... I happen to like Nokia products. Sure, the Symbian UI could look sexier. Now, I do have an iPhone and like it - I particularly love how it synchs w/my Mac. However, it is missing some important features for me. I'd gladly trade my iPhone in for this Nokia, or more likely the E71.

Ever tried a PDA with Windows Mobile ? Very very slow I must say compare to iphone.Look at the rendering 3d graphic games out there,at first I did not believe such a small phone could be displaying 3d graphic at a good rate (20-25 fps)...Anyway,choise taste it's up to you.I hate Apple personaly but nothing better is out so...
