Sidekick 2008/ Gekko Already Available on Craigslist

It won't make its official debut until July 30th, but if you just can't wait another 12 days to get your hands on one, it can be had right now on Craigslist. Why anyone would spend a premium amount of cash on a used test unit with the release less than two weeks away is beyond me, but I wouldn't be surprised if someone took the bait. has the sidekick finally arrived in australia? i stay in fiji and i really want one. do they sell em off the plans? i heard you've also got to get it unlocked before i can use it in fiji. whats the selling price and where can i get it from? is it worthy? im looking for the t-mobile sidekick, not the slide one. can anyone help me pls?!

OMG, like you'll be walking in the mall, and everyone's going to be walking up and asking you, "is THAT the new Sidekick 2008 that's not even out yet? Wow, you must be rich!"
At least you don't have to stand in line for hours like the iPhone!

Why do people set up camp on the streets to get the iPhone on release day instead of just waiting a few days? People are retarded is why.

I'm looking to buy this phone. I'm anxiously awaiting the price. All this talk of affordable pricing and such has me hoping it's under $250 without a new contract.

I think the LX is better.
LX screen size is bigger.. and has everything this 2008 has... except ofcoz the changeable covers

Wow, uhm, the iPhone hate swayed in REEEAL quick. Remember guys stay focused, it's a sidek!ck, and can compare to the iPhone in no way, other than it lets you talk to people who are really far away from you, or close if you happen to be lost in a mall, but that's a different story entirely.
It's a pretty cool looking phone, and thats coming from an iPhone lover. Thanks for the update sir Fallon, my friend is looking forward to getting one so all the news is well appreciated so that i can look like the cool nerd that knows everything, now if only there was some sort of numeric figure that would tell someone how much of something they would have to fork over in order to obtain one of these, gosh, it's gonna come to me while im editing my BIOS or some other awkward time.
