Sega Hamster Is as Cute as the Real Thing, and It Doesn't Poop
Posted by Jesus Diaz at 9:00 PM on July 31, 2008
Continuing with its series of animal robots designed to entertain kids, tenderise adults, and more importantly, don't poop, Sega is going to start selling their Hamster robot in Japan this August. The 3.5-inch robot is fluffy, does cute cute cute things, and you only need to feed it four batteries. Hamsters everywhere, it's back to Burger King time for all of you furry things you. Armageddon!
What a great idea. Robot Hamsters for your robot kids. That'll teach them a lot about caring for a living animal. Awh, it's dead. Shove some fresh batteries up it's ass! Hey, it's alive again! Sweet!

Oh good, it doesn't have a bowel for it to not have any control over.
Must simplify the programming.

Haha I would love to see one of these cute little dudes turn evil and gather the rest of the hamsters to take over the Earth.

This is probably better than the real thing.
Hamsters make terrible pets:
They are high-strung, they sleep all day, spend the night rattling their cage trying to escape, and don't like being handled.
If you want a small pet that you don't interact much with beyond feeding, a Hamster is for you.
Rats make much better pets because they LOVE being handled and interacted with.

What I want to know is that if you hold it too hard, do the led looking eyes look like they're going to pop out?
