Real Dinosaur on the Loose in a Museum Makes Learning Fun, Extremely Dangerous
Posted by Adam Frucci at 4:03 AM on July 22, 2008
This is a video of a dinosaur on the loose in the LA Museum of Natural History. No computer effects used here, folks: it's all real. Well, I mean, it's not a real dinosaur of course or those kids would be totally devoured, but you know what I mean. If you look closely at the dinosaur you can see what's going on here. One thing's for certain: I want one, and I want one bad. No trick or treaters will have anything on me this year, mark my words. [Random Good Stuff]

Where's the Weird Al soundtrack?
Someone let T. Rex out of his pen
I'm afraid those things'll harm me
'Cause they sure don't act like Barney
And they think that I'm their dinner, not their friend
Oh no...

Easily part of the credit goes to the operator/puppeteer, who is doing beautiful mannerisms inside that thing.

Very impressive for me (33 y/o). For your average 5 or 6 y/o, that's earth shattering. Didn't have sound on my work computer, but proper acoustics could send an entire field-trip of elementary schoolers into a panicked, frenzied stampede.
...all in all, a good day at the museum.
