Predictable Yet Still Entertaining: John Dvorak Calls Out NYT and WSJ for Shilling Apple

Yes he does. Every Apple launch, at least one tech journalist goes meta and calls out other journalists for being Apple shills. Meanwhile, PC Mag gives the iPhone a 4/5 rating with Editor's Choice, John likes Macs, and there's an icon on his column for "More iPhone coverage". Oh people, don't you know he's just getting you riled up to get attention and links?...I guess that worked. Man, the guy is a genius. [PC Mag]

He's right, though. Apple produces overrated products that are brilliantly marketed and that get massive media coverage and tons of people buying them up because they don't knowany better.

@dnzperson: Yep, he's bragged on numerous occasions that he'll talk shite about Apple to draw hits to his blog. Nothing more predictable than one of us Apple fanboys seeking to set someone who speaks ill of Apple straight. LOL

I do have to admit, I always feel surprised when I see an Apple TV commercial. But then again, do the unwashed masses read tech blogs? I don't watch TV either, so I guess there's that.
