I was 5th in line out in the west of syd and I was the last to get a 16gb black one, I’m happy, but im sure the 40 people out side wouldn’t of been!

Is it Apple or Optus’s fault? I know at both the stores in Darwin, there were allegedly NO preorders… luckily I got mine as I arrived early enough (didn’t get teh white I wanted, had to settle for black) but there were at least 6 more people who arrived after me, who had also paid a deposit, who missed out.

I would love to know as well if anyone has unlocked their phones from Optus yet and tried to run it on the 3 network.!

Mine won't activate for another couple of hours... thought activating the SIM online would be faster (grmpf). Ah, well; i have Wi-Fi to play around with it.

Apple has failed massively on this launch.

The was 16 units for the 250+ people at the Optus store I went to, those with deposits paid were left without a phone & no confirmed delivery date, and wanting blood.
