Cheese Wheel PC, Because...We Actually Don't Know
Posted by Mark Wilson at 10:52 PM on July 17, 2008
We're not sure what drives one to put a PC in a cheese wheel, but we're glad that such outlets exist for those who are so inclined. For what would man have done, say, 100 years ago if he wanted to run TurboTax from a pile of aging dairy product? He would have lived a sad life and died alone, his hands reeking of yogurt. You put a PC inside a wheel of cheese? I'm not even mad, I'm impressed.
Great work Baxter.

@Nick-Tick: You have to age it in caves

@Nick-Tick: Depending on what type of cheese (and at the proper temperature and humidity), it can.
@strider_mt2k: He's talking about the green mold on old food.

Hmmm, maybe I'll attempt something similar where a real cheese wheel sits on top of a round case and runs into a fondue pot as it melts ... PC queso

@Mayor McRib: The world would be a much better place without intolerant people like you. I thought in this day and age we would be past all the hate.

@strider_mt2k: I'm afraid that Cheese is not like Wine because Wine becomes better with age and I believe that Cheese tends to become moldy.

Say what you want, but that project is extremely well executed, cheese or no.
Hey, I love cheese!
Cheese is like Coffee, Wine, and a good Mustard.
You are gonna find someone somewhere that'll go APESHIT over something like this.
I'd start with guys that run Cheese companies and expand the search from there.
We have a lot of work to to people, and not a lot of time.
LET'S GO!

But it's not real cheese, it's just a chunk of plastic in the shape of a cheese wheel. It'd be much cooler if it was real cheese. Then you could eat it.

@Nick-Tick: Actually, cheese and wine follow parallel paths of fermentation. Both are produced through controlled spoilage, allowing microbes to infect and degrade the original food, and both appeal to the once-acquired-then-sought-after human taste for partial spoilage. Mmmmmm… partial spoilage.

Cheese glorious cheese!
This is only slightly less of a waste of cheese as that guy who hid his bud light in the cheese wheel so he could hang out with his "boyz" in the kitchen and avoid the ladies.
A pox on all of you cheese-wasters!
A pox!

If this were actually made out of cheese, the fans could be used to ensure that it remained fresh and delicious.
