iPhone 2.0 Firmware: Early july, Free Download

Jason Chen:

The App Store icon will automatically tell
you when there’s an update for apps you’ve downloaded. Developers keep
70% of the revenues, and will be no charge for free apps. FairPlay DRM
will wrap applications.
