Leave it to obscure Chinese manufacturers to come up with the CJ7 Dog Doll MP3 Player--a device so hideous it looks as if it was spawned in the fires of hell. Outside of its appearance, the device features 1GB of flash memory, a built-in loudspeaker and a conveniently placed USB butt port. It will only set you back US$18.67, but that is still a high price to pay for a device that will surely give you nightmares. [DealExtreme via anythingbutipod]
Update: The commenters pointed out that it's the alien from Stephen Chow's new movie CJ7. I personally heard the movie was pretty awful, but I haven't actually seen it yet. – JC

Aside from the fact that the CJ7's fur probably dissolves into a toxic soup of chemicals the moment you put it in your mouth, which is what probably made that dog's hair fall out, I actually think it looks strangely awesome.

I'm sure Sam was a nice friendly doggy, but does anyone know why he looked like that? Did he pop out of his mother's womb looking this crazy? Did he never grow hair properly or was it a skin disease? I want to know.

@Bitstuff: Sorry if this is a double post, but Sam just looked that way. Just plain ugly, not dipped in acid or something. Sam was actually a purebred Chinese Crested Hairless. I wonder if he had AKC papers.

They also came up with this really damn annoying toy thing. It's supposed to look like a little girl and all it does when it's on is lie on it's belly with it's shins up in the air, sway them around with annoying motor noises, laugh in an incredibly annoying fashion through it's crackly speaker, and use that same speaker to loudly sing the first line of Twinkle Twinkle Little Star in the most annoying voice to ever exist. They had them all over this flea market one time and I wanted to take things from nearby tables and shove them in my ears until I couldn't ear. Damn Chinese.
