A Lamp Named Moo, the Song Johnny Cash Should Have Sung

There are a few reasons why I find myself strangely attracted to Moo. It's made by a Norwegian company called Northern Exposure. You can mount on both inside and outside walls. It reminds me of my brother, whose nickname is Moose. Light-up antlers, baby (although the designers could have put a bit more light at the tips, really). It's just a lot less messy than going hunting in the snow. [Dezeen]

This is precisely what I need to accompany my stuffed squirrel.
Natasha, pesky Moose and Squirrel make excellent kitsch decor, no? Fearless Leader will be pleased when he comes for John Waters retrospective movie marathon.

Good for a cabin or a guys den; I expect to see it in the Cabelas Christmas catalog, where it will do quite well under the heading of "What to buy for the person who already has everything".

I think you may see them at IKEA stores and Mercedes showrooms soon.
Back in 1997 the new A-Class Mercedes failed the Swedish Moose avoidance test. A Swedish journalist performing the test overturned the car. Sweden and Norway are neighbors so both should share the glory of Mr. Moose.

Being Canadian I have to point out that this is not a real likeness of a moose.
The horns are wrong... shrunken or at best prepubescent.
It's a moose dressing up like a cariboo - perhaps they like to do that in Norway.
I just saw the Guinness Book of Records biggest moose rack at the Royal Ontario Museum last weekend. SIX feet across tip to tip.

Do they have a "stuck through the wall" version with mountable hindquarters? 'Cause I think a light-up asshole is the cozy touch my domicile is missing.
