Sidekick LX OTA Getting Updated Starting June 25

The promised update for Sidekick LX is going to start rolling out over the air come June 25, adding video capture, video sharing, IM enhancements and various other upgrades. The Sidekick LX does not have video capture, The new sidekick which is now being sold in America does. The sidekick LX is not being sold in America anymore. Just thought you might want to know.

@Kaiser-Machead's got LindsayJoy's cookies on the SuperDrive: They had that problem with the sidekick 2, too. The LX has a different material, like they melted the keypad from the sk3 and the sk21 together and came up with the LX's keyboard but they used like these little corners to press down on the keypad so they won't roll and peel off.

I found all three SK keypads to be rather comfortable to use, but SKI was the absolute worst when it came to longevity. It didn't take long or take much stress for the rubber button pad to PEEL OFF. Crappy.

@famousarie: I actually loved the sidekicks keyboard, it was more comfortable to me than the Sidekick LX and it's keyboard. I miss the sk3...i'd buy it again in a heart beat!

@Kramen loves her MBP: I prefered the sidekick II keyboard. The three was crap thats why i didnt rush like everyone else to get the sidekick III. The curve is nice. But i dont like the layout of the keyboard. the sidekick LX is more comforable

@Kaiser-Machead's got LindsayJoy's cookies on the SuperDrive: Well that is why I said I've only had all the sidekicks of the sidekick THREE, you see! The keyboard drove me away actually and the internet and lack of shit on that phone. I have small hands and the keyboard was killing my fingers :p
@famousarie: I love my curve. I had a red silicone case and a hello kitty charm, i've made it my very own :p I just wish we could get an update at T-mobile for video playback!

@famousarie: I feel a little pissed. I've had EVERY sidekick since the sk3 and NOW after I get rid of it and get a Blackberry Curve they decide to put a video recorder on it. I fucking hate Sidekicks even more.

sidekicks are cool...but the danger email server frickin' sucks. i had a blackberry...ditched it for a sidekick..and two months later, I'm back with blackberry curve. Thanks but no thanks. :D

hahahhahah with the new update it officially has the iphone beat on features (dont get me wrong the UI on the iphone is gorgeous) lets get real after this update the kick will do everything the iphone still cant its pretty sad when the sk toy does more than the iphone minicomp i still want an iphone but the ota makes it a little easier for me to stick with 80 dollars a month compared to your 110 dollars a month :D
