POMI Robot is R2D2 Trapped in the Body of a Penguin

Korean researchers have developed POMI, a penguin-looking robot that is able to see, hear, touch and smell. But even cooler, are its R2D2 qualities, which include flashing LEDs and a built-in projector for video playback. In addition, the robot has rudimentary facial expressions, a camera, a display screen, and the ability to speak in short phrases. To top things off, POMI has a mechanism to replicate a heartbeat that can be felt when you touch its case, and also emits "scent sprays to express happiness, sadness, and joy." When I think of R2's qualities, I think of his persistence and never-say-die attitude, I think of his ability to diagnose and fix mechanical problems on the X-wing, I think of his ability to turn off trash compacters .... his blinking LEDs, not so much.
Besides, did they even have LEDs when he was built? I think it was just lightbulbs under colored lenses.

Pretty much the same, just a lot fatter and even more annoying. And the scent sprays...YIKES!

and as if looking like fancy vacuum cleaner wasnt enough for a robot, its also got that pedophile look in its eye and a screen in its belly like a tele-tubby... prehaps for attracting children?

what it needs is the ability to tape record conversations with my wife so when she insists I say something we can have the POS go back and prove she's wrong.
