World's Largest Foosball Table: You Don't Have This Much Game
Posted by Sean Fallon at 8:30 AM on May 3, 2008
Think you are a foosball champion? How about stepping your game up to the Table Football XXL? There is no information about how long this table actually is, but sufficed to say— you are going to need to bring some friends. In fact, two full soccer teams (22 players) could go head to head on this thing in what would undoubtedly be an epic foosballing showdown. Unfortunately, you may never get a chance to try your skill—the Table Football XXL is a one-of-a-kind item built as an advertising stunt for Amstel beer. [Airworks via DVICE]

@iPhony:
That may be true, but I do have two Octopusses who love soccer. Octofoos.

you'd have to have people on different teams staggered like this: Home, Visitor, Home, Visitor, Home, Goal.
Throw in one ball for every two players and then you'd need two scorers, one for each goal.
This could be a lot of fun if drinking is involved. Also, you could dedicate someone as a bookie and get some betting going.

I thought it was going to be a live action Foos Ball feild with real people suspended in jump suits hanging from cables attached to strong beams that are mechanically moved back and forth and controlled by two teams in towers on each side of the field.

@yougottabekidding: I am with you on that one. A table that size needs a scorekeeper on both side with at least 3 balls, but hell make it 10 balls. That would be a great game.

Nobody posting here has enough friends for this to be relevant.

First one to score wins! One slight problem with having that many players might just be standing there waiting for the ball to get to your side of the table. Now, add a few more balls to it and let the mayhem begin.

10 friends + 10 foosballs + keg = good times.

Dude that would be great for parties. That's good for a 12 vs. 12 match.

I think it would be more fun 1 v 1. It would be a good workout too running back and forth.

No way do I have the attention span for that monstrosity. Someone needs to make a metal table with a glass top. Attach small cell model rocket engines to the bottom of the foos-guys, and give people in the crowd the ability to set off one engine each. Now that is how you make a better foosball table. Fireworks n shit!

@Sora57: Your two octopi would not fill all the slots! Imagine the drunken bar fights that could be had over one of these tables! Awesome!

Most standard tables are in the 54" to 56" range and it's made of six of them. Of course that measurement includes the "goals" so let's knock them down on average to 50". That's going to make it about 25', give or take a few inches.
(If my math is right and it probably isn't.)

Hack a couple of regular foosball tables together.

I'd pay Serena and Venus Williams to play this shit, and I'd get it on video for youtube.

I played on this table at the after-party for the champion's league final in 2004 (may have been 2005 - I was pretty drunk), as Amstel are Champ's League sponsors. We were all hammered, granted, but it was fairly silly, and difficult to get the ball out of the middle of the table, so we added another 3 in. Multi-ball Foosball!!!
This isn't the largest, however - at the recent Barcelona v Man Utd CL game they had an inflatable version that you got into in big bungee held things and booted a ball around. Human Foosball! It'll never catch on....

Wrong, friendo. I saw a 18-person foosball table in Erlangen, Germany... PER SIDE!
It's in the middle of the mall there (great way to get people to hang there). They had about five balls in play at once. I didn't see either side score but I bet the noise would have blown the roof off the place!
