&lt;p&gt;Seriously though I use a Black and Decker electric hedge trimmer (maybe not quite the tech you are looking for) I inherited from my Grandfather that must be 60 years old. Sure it weighs 10 times what you can get these days but it cuts through just about anything and is made of steel (not plastic) so it so you can drop it and run over it in your car and it just keeps going.   &lt;/p&gt;</description>
