The origins of this CD Drive salami slicer are unknown, so there are no details on the build itself. However, it seems that adding a decent blade to an old CD drive could score you a salami slicer that fits in with your geeky lifestyle. I’m VERY late with this comment, as I was googling on various slicers and ended up here. This is funny, but salami needs to be sliced very thinly in order to bring out its flavour, IMHO. Of course, lots of guys just want the meat, the larger chunks the better, but I hope they settle for the cheaper salamis out there if that’s the case. Too funny, but not what I was googling for.
