I agree with Billeh.

Lame review. What about mouse weight? Any mention of lag? DPI? Mousepad surface friction? What about if the mouse cable interfered with the mouse movement? I opt for smaller cables for that reason.

Anyone else notice that the style he's familiar with won over the alternative? Biased much?

As far as I know, Razor Lycosa is better suited towards the FPS Crowd due to the low profile of the light keys. However RTS gamers (or Warcraft III players at least) generally prefer the SteelSeries because it offers more accuracy when skipping between sections of the keyboard. If I recall correctly, SteelSeries suggested that they were going to release an FPS keyboard (the original 6g was created for O2Jam lol...)

Also, regarding setups I think the mousepad is likely to provide the most difference. Both keyboard and mice are largely user preference in terms of ergonomics/layout though mousepads can be used with any gear really. I have a fUnc 1030 which is worn down on both sides and will need a new mousepad soon.

Go and buy a Razer Copperhead, grab yourself a decent felt mousepad (I was never a fan of the metal/glass/plastics -_-) and a set of Icemat Siberias, and then tell me how much of a better gamer you are. You play TF2? TF1 ftw. And you’re better off benchmarking your skill in 1.6 rather than TF, just a thought. BTW: I fucking roll you, but that means nothing cause this is the interwebs ^^
