Remember how fast Edge was a year ago? Didn't you love how the service corroded and ground to a halt as more and more iPhone users came online? Here in Los Angeles, Edge speeds of 23kbps are not unusual in many parts of town. Why won't this happen again?

iPhones are $600. No -- they're $400. They're on Edge, no -- they're on G3. They're destined for two years' service but we'll make the carrier so pathetic you'll have to buy one every year. Enough.

Thrice bitten by Apple, I'm grateful Jobs has given the rest of the industry a kick in the butt, it's time to hook up with iPhone's offspring. The games Apple plays! The horror!
