What I carn’t understand is if u have multiroom and have platHD package,,then 2 watch the HD channels in another room,,they want another $10 service fee a month for the extra box…isn’t that the whole idea of paying the $15 for multiroom so u can watch the same package as u paid for on the main set?????? yet if u have just an iQ box then there is no $10 fee????? WHAT THE?

I think you are all a bit of the fool. If you are stupid enough to pay for Foxtels rerun TV in the first place then you too can upgrade to .. err well no channels of HD for a hell of a lot of money. well 4 to be exact. How very 1990 of them to grace the public with something that they made us have so no one would be able to have multichannel DTV for free in the first place.
Gee here is an idea, take that 1500 dollars you waste a year and buy a bluray player and buy discs from amazon.com. or better still waste the money on a really outdated broadband package and download HD programming from the USA. either way you will bet a more interesting tv experience. Happy rip off

I have been a Foxtell costumer for some time now and I have put up with their inferior product for that time, first there analogue had poor sound and picture quality and then they brought out digital, the picture improved marginally put the sound quality stayed the same now they are trying to sell me IQ 2 which is HD they want $200 upfront and $15 monthly on top of my monthly bill which is $135 just for 3 or 4 HD stations which are the same as the digital ,I can get channel 7 and 10 HD for no extra cost I don’t understand why I should pay extra just because they are trying to keep up with free to air and to fix their inferior product .I like to know if I am the only person that feels like they are getting ripped off, I think they will have to replace all there Foxtel boxes to HD eventually because they will stop making the old ones. Ps, Panasonic are bringing in a bluray recorder stuff foxtel.

I’d like to see every Foxtel channel High Definition. Considering Ultra High Definition Video has made its debut. Foxtel is pretty far behind the ball.

Yes, this $200 fee, for nothing, is a complete JOKE.
The $15 a month is for renting the box. $200 extra installation? I can plug in 2 cables, let me do it!

i agree $200 isa rip and should be free for existing platinum subscribers and to pay $15 a month for 5 channels is a joke.

Simmy, difference is that 200 bucks does not buy me the STB buddy. They still retain ownership.

So if the monthly rental of $10 pays for me to have the IQ2, the $200 is just what they say it is. An install fee!
