Buy Designer Laptops for a Good Cause
Posted by Mark Wilson at 5:40 AM on May 13, 2008
PC Magazine has partnered with HP and a slew of designers to create nine "computerlicious" (one-of-a-kind) laptops for a charity auction. Available on eBay now (and currently up to about US$100 a pop), 100% of the auctions' proceeds will go to The National Cristina Foundation (they donate used PCs to schools and non-profits). If you've been looking for a good way to make your new laptop a tax deductible endeavor (or if you just really like Paul Frank), head on over to eBay and do some bidding. [eBay and PCMag]

It's sad that Paul Frank doesn't even design Paul Frank stuff anymore.

I have two first names. Sadly my first first name sounds more like a last name than a first name and my last name sounds a bit more like a first name. It's complicated.

@Munch:
My parents past down those same words of wisdom to me. That's why, despite the fact that I really like him, I will never vote for Ron Paul. His name hurts him a lot I think.

A slightly more attractive design than the turd laden one you showed us a week or so ago but still not looking so hot. I really have no idea why people would want anything other than a nice, clean, inconspicuous black laptop.

Does anyone know what the image of the handkerchiefed woman on the right side laptop is about? I've seen that image before but I have no clue what it's about.

@OGHowie: It's sad that a company that previously restricted themselves to Limited Too stores thinks that they're the next LRG. I guess if grown black men like wearing that fucking monkey...

Meh. You can get a package of three printable laptop skins for about $20 at the office supply store and cover your own computer any way you like.

@shamoononon:
I have 2 first names, actually 3 first names. My mail usually gets 2 different versions.

@infmom:
you could, but the price is high because they're donating money.
