Sure, you could wear a raincoat if you don't feel like carrying an umbrella, but does it really keep you dry? I didn't think so. And are raincoats "the wings for your arms"? No. UFO Cap does all of that and more, like keep away pesky girls asking you out for drinks. Sadly, it's Korea-only for now, but I'm pretty sure they'll be glad to ship one to you. [UFO Cap via io9]

What would happen if the guy riding a bike was wearing one of those? Either it makes him more aerodynamic (like those downhill racing helmets), will blow him off the bike if he leans back, or make him look like a flying dildo (more likely)...

Maybe they were going for the frilled lizard look. They can run on water too, so if it's really raining hard, your shoes won't even get wet.

@Y2KGTP: Man you got that right! This nubrella thing is hilarious! How do people get these things to market? Somebody spent a lot of money to produce this, this monstrous perversion.
Aside from the fact that no one would ever want to be seen in this, I can imagine that the 'transparent' panel would get opaque pretty fast from rain and condensation.
Other than that, I'll take two.

Maybe there it would work, but here in the USA to put that on your kid instead of a normal umbrella, it's called an invitation to a beating at the bus stop. Also I don't know much about weather in other places, but here it rains and wind blows together so you're going to get soaked in any case. Then when you take it off it's going to look like you peed your pants on an epic scale instead of just being wet all over like a normal person.
