John Mayer Gets Apple Reply after Bug Report Jibba-Jabba

It looks like writing "John Mayer here" really works to get Apple's attention when you report a problem. According to Steve Jobs' fab guitarist, they got back to him directly only four days after he sent the bug report ramblings:
...four days later, I received an e-mail from my manager saying that Apple was at my service. Word of my problem initially made it's way to Apple not by way of my public profile, but by a technician receiving the report as they would anyone else's and passing it along internally until word reached my friends at the company.
Well, John, sorry to bust the bubble, but if you start your bug reports saying you are John Mayer, of course your manager is going to get a mail from Apple. The support guy who took care of Mayer had this to say:
"We take crash reports seriously on our side, because for us it's just like being able to talk directly with the customer while the problem is happening. The information that we get from the automated system is perfect for helping us solve the problem, and obviously the customers comments can take it one step further."
We bet that Apple takes reports seriously, but have you ever got anyone from Apple—or any other company—sending you an email from a bug report? [John Mayer —thanks Robbie]
Guest Editor's Answer: Mr. T has sent hundreds of bug reports about Safari breaking down and never got ANYTHING back from those Apple suckas! Here's my latest report:
Hello suckas! Mr. T here. I was trying to do some editing today for this tech site and the crazy Safari crashed! I pity the fool who goes out tryin' a' take over da world with their browser, then runs home cryin' to his momma! So listen to me, suckas! You're going to fix this! Or I'm gonna kill that crazy Jobs! Sincerely, Mr. T
And then I added a picture of genitals drawn in ASCII code!

I still haven't got my response from Apple, and that's when I still had a 30GB iPod Video. Now I have an iPod Touch... Where's my support apple?

I read the "T" bubble and thought to myself...Right on T!
But then I read it again, I thought it said "What the heck is this suckASS music!"
I believe it delivered the same message. Mine is what everyone else thinks...his is the spoken word of the language Mr. T-eese a.k.a. a Mr. T-ism.

@klaybc: So I looked and saw that in some countries this is true. On the other hand every site I looked at failed to mention the USA as one of those countries. Ergo the Giz can do whatever they want.

I had an issue with Live Search on my WinMo phone and an engineer freakin called me like 4 hours later. Apparently it was a "beta" product within the new Live Search and they wanted to walk through it with me to diagnose it.
Of course, I did put "Jeremy Clarkson here" at the beginning.

Every bug report I've submitted to Apple has been followed up with a response. They take these things seriously.

Everytime I have contacted Apple, they have contacted me back within a few hours so I don't know what your point is, Giz.
As for those who haven't gotten a response, I have no explanation other than maybe you didn't send it from your Apple registered e-mail?

I ain't never got no reply from my MacBook Pro 2.2-Never-want-to-wake-up problem.
I been sending in reports to them suckas for months. I guess I gotta threaten to open a can on em.

Hunh, no one ever replies to my bug reports either.
Then again, if I didn't use them to practice 'yo momma' jokes, maybe they'd "take [my] crash reports seriously". Now I feel bad for those poor engineers' mommas.

I've tried filing error reports and posting to their support site which often times gets a response but no go on this problem.
Guess I don't need a response per se. I just want em to fix it.
Aint nothing worse than a mac that won't wake up. Except when the mac wakes up while it's in your backpack and drains the battery dry. Same thing happens since 10.5.1

...which is not actually asking for a response itself. However, for the love of recursion, I wondered if I supplied one anyway, would it break the viscious cycle of 'not receiving responses not asked for' once and for all. I'm happy to report, so far so good!
