iFrogz Audiowrapz for iPod Nano Coming to a WalMart Near You
Audiowrapz, those cool, silicon Nano cases with a passive speaker incorporated into the skin, are to go on sale at WalMart. Although you can already buy them in several colours for US$25 online, the press release says they’re going to be available in the stores in just black and pink for under US$20. I have these in pastel blue, pastel pink, and black (not treadz). These only fit the 3rd gen nano that looks squarish and not rectangular like the new model. The sound is better than I expected and protects the ipod EXTREMELY well. It even comes with a screen protector for your ipod. If you’re interested in purchasing these, you can buy them for $5.00 (yes, five bucks) on Ebay w/free shipping. I basically needed something that I could play in my cubicle without disturbing others, so I rarely have this turned all the way up, but the sound is great even when I do so while taking a shower! I also like the fact you don’t have to buy batteries for it. Too many desktop ipod speakers require batteries, which tend to deplete very quickly. I think these are worth the five bucks I paid for each! :)
