I use a Mac. A 3-month new 20-inch iMac. And I have no intention of forking out my cash for a copy of Vista to Boot Camp on it. Nor do I plan on purchasing a new PC just so I can use IE - why would I, when I can use Firefox?

The problem is that you are restricted to only using Explorer only on a PC. That sucks, even if you aren't a Mac user.

I’m sorry but isn’t this a tech site? Do you really dont have a current PC with explorer? Am I missing something? I think thats kinda lame Gizmodo.

Flame and Macgill got it right on both counts. My feeling about the Nokia Store is “Go Jump” if they want to lock out the exact potential customers who are likely to Fox it, let alone the DRM issue – then its just nicer to go elsewhere (and that’s pretty easy!)
As for your pop up (which I don’t see coz I’m using the Fox!) – what about the outrageous and unnecessary auto-refresh which I cant opt out of (but which Firefox 3 blocks). Auto refresh is, well, BAD.

I started to read your review of the Nokia store, but then a pop up from Media One changed the subject. Yick… Do you really need the money so much that you are willing to detract attention from your own content so invasively? How could anyone take your review of Nokia’s service seriously when you so clearly devalue your own service?

It's nice they have the Store running in a browser, but what is the plugin? Some ActiveX shite no doubt.

I don't see how they think they can compete if A) they don't support Ipods and B) it's all DRM'd (taking into consideration they other new stores are DRM free and Itunes is moving that way)
