Easy Grip Helps You Secure Those Slippery Books
Posted by Sean Fallon at 11:40 AM on April 15, 2008
If I read actual books, this Easy Grip would fit right in with my active lifestyle. Its secure one-handed grip technology keeps the book in place while simultaneously marking the open page. That means I am free to read while jogging, driving or arm wrestling. Thanks crazy Korean manufacturers! Available for 9500 Won or around $11. Additional image after the break.

To bad there isnt an electronic device that could display text. That could be readable and searchable maybe even written on a CD or to a HD. Its crazy talk but some day my idea of a "digital age" will occure and we will be a paperless society. Until then you can use this Ala Sean Penn in 'Bad Boys' like a pillow case.

Wouldnt this fail to keep the pages from fanning, thus requiring 2 hands?

This is amazing! I spend a lot of time reading single pieces of paper... I really think they need to come up with something like this for that... That would really make my life easier!

I would point out that the model is still having to use two hands. I fail to see how this is any improvement on the thumb -- or perhaps the happy sock, depending on which angle one is viewing this from.

@bombastinator: haha, that's the first thing I noticed too, I was like I call bull, even the model can't handle the thing one handed and all he has to do is hold the thing for 5 seconds for a picture. With that big plasticy thing in there it wouldn't even make a decent bookmark.. It's only reprieve is if a gyro is added so I can affix it to my steering wheel and it won't wobble when I turn... Not that I'd need to turn with this thing blocking out that pesky road. With this thing, all roads are straight.. Oh yeah baby, it's like my own little paper "someone elses problem field"

Does anyone know where I might be able to order this? I'd prefer a site I could possibly read, or at least infer from. My Hangul isn't quite so strong :D
