Smart Mug Tells You if Your Tea is Hot or Not
Posted by Gizmodo US Edition at 8:00 PM on March 6, 2008
This mug automagically tells you when its contents are hot or not with a colour change and the words "Hot" and "Cold." Cunning, eh? Might save you from a burnt lip or two, or alert you that the temperature is low enough if you're one of those strange types who waits for their tea to go cold. It's not exactly ground-breaking technology, but it's a darn elegant application of it. Available on pre-order for US$25. [Technabob]

Those mugs are really usefull, I have two of them.
The only thing you better not do, is put them in a dishwasher, that'll break the heat-responsive layer.
(My sister did this to one I've gotten for a birthday present 5 years ago.)

yea my dad had this in 1989.
I hate it when people scream, "OLD," but seriously, what's next? the new Sony Walkman?

This is old, I was given one free a few years ago when the company laid us all off, it had the company logo. Its been through the dishwasher several times too.
