Dealzmodo: EzyDVD Beating the HD DVD Bomb Again
In case you missed the last one, Ezy DVD is clearing out their old HD DVD stock with some pretty awesome savings. The selection isn’t as good as last time, but come on – UnderSiege for $5? How can anybody say no to that?

It’s a real shame that the HD-DVD format isn’t being supported anymore, I own both a 360 with HD-DVD player and the PS3, and find the features and the quality of the picture while in MOTION to be much better in the HD-DVD format. Bluray has amazing detail but I don’t know if it’s the encoding they aren’t doing right or if it’s just a lesser format but in motion there’s compression and artifacts all over the screen, is there such a thin as a videophile? If so, that’s what I am. Still, great to be finding such bargains around, even if it’s for such a sad reason.
Actually the beat the bomb stuff is new being available on March 28 and includes free postage if you preorder.
If you jumped into HD-DVD (like I did) it’s well worth it. With new Blu Ray titles being pushed for around $40 I doubt they’ll never get this cheap without competition.
Just hope your HD hardware goes the distance.
p.s. Yes I couldn’t resist “Under Siege” for $5, what the hell.
BTW, most of the previous beat the bomb titles are available at

Still pretty cheap just not as cheap as the beat the bomb.
