Asus has confirmed the Eee PC 900, which features a larger 8.9-inch screen with 1024×600 resolution, 1GB RAM and up to 12GB storage. Other than this, and a larger touchpad, it looks almost the same as the original. [DailyTech]
This 900 model comes with a higher resolution Web Cam camera [from 0.3 Mp to 1.3 Mp] and also has the option of having a Windows XP Operating System pre -installed. A bigger six cell battery [currently four cell that gives approx. 3.5 hrs] for even longer times between recharging is available in Europe.
it is certainly a cool change from the previous model.
I would like it to have a dvd drive though so we can watch DVDs on the go. The extra thickness will just make it looks cuter a gem.

It seems to have taken ASUS forever to release them here in Australia. No one seems to be able to confirm the exact release date!
