Pico Projector Coming by Mid 2008

Awesome. Young Optics Inc. has announced that it will release a Pico projector by the end of this quarter or the beginning of the next, which would make it the first such product to hit the market. The device will be based on Texas Instruments technology and utilise a DPL chip and RGB LED light module that will display up to 7 ANSI lumens brightness using only 1 watt of energy. Hmm,K, with a whole 7 ANSI lumens, is this even going to be of ANY use in less than total darkness?

What OS or UI is it running? Do I see QuickTime and the regular Mac OS X Calendar icons?

While you're on the cellphone, it shoots a voice stress analyzer graph onto the ceiling. That way everyone in the room knows when you're a lying sack of douche.

Do you suppose Young Optics is aware of the fact that Pico is slang for "weiner" (that's the PC version) in Chile? Guess they won't sell many weiner projectors in South America.
