Microsoft’s Brainwashing Children’s Book: Mummy, Where Do Servers Come From?

mserver.jpg“Mummy, Why is There a Server in the House?” is a children’s book dedicated to “Helping Your Child Understand the Stay-At-Home Server.” At first we snarked at this over-the-top marketing propaganda. But then it made us crap our pants with laughter.

I’m hooked. After all, nothing says “buy me” more than a book that says life at work is dull and meaningless, immediately followed by statements that home should be made more like work, all the while assuming that the target market has the intellectual capacity of 7 year olds who’ve just learnt how to read.

    Just, wow.
