Helio's Mysto Slider Now Available Everywhere
The previously NYC and Santa Monica-only Helio Mysto has finally expanded to a nationwide release, meaning you can grab one online or at your local meatspace Helio store. Here's one bit of info we haven't mentioned before: the Mysto's web browser is "location aware", meaning you can have location data for certain web-based applications. Neat stuff. [Helio]

Just picked up my Mysto from Invicta Wireless and really love it. Did you guys notice that it vibrates when ever you use the touch sensitive buttons. Any way you can check out the full profile at:

@MBPro: Those people must have been idiots... It has a scroll wheel on the front of it.
At any rate, I would love to try out Helio... too bad I am stuck in a suck-ass contract with Verizon.

They run for around $250 unlocked on eBay. Samsung U600. Has better specs too. I got my white one last summer for about $320. Got a lot of compliments on it. Some people definitely thought it was an iPhone (before it was released)

@dragonphyre: Well, no it's not a scroll wheel, just a navigational pad. Even still, I have never had my dark blue one mistaken for an iPhone.
I got mine in (I think) March of last year while I was in Scotland. Cost 200 quid, around $400. I got a lot of compliments on mine, although one thing I can't stand is the fact that I can't get my IMAP email to check automatically every hour... other than that it's an amazing phone. Helio will no doubt lock-up a lot of the features, though.

Helio still has a way to go in pleasing consumers. The Ocean is an absolutely amazing product and the speed of the network is fantastic. But if you have any trouble with your phone (which snobtastically they call a device), or you have a problem with your bill you will have to encounter the most atrocious customer service I have ever dealt with. Hopefully they get their act together because the products they sell are great.
