To know Bill is to hate him. I just love his passing comment about how Apple takes more time to focus on things to "polish them" more that MircoSoft. NO SHIT! Apple has to inspire loyalty because they don't have 90% of the computing world by the balls. On an ongoing basis, Apple enthusiasts become spoiled to excellence, so they expect more of it, whereas Windows veterans feel elated just to get their machines working. I feel sorry for them sometimes :-(

Bill Gates did not become rich by bringing exciting products to the market place that sold like crazy (can you spell i-P-o-d ?) the big money came from trickery and deceit regarding the original operating system. Before anyone knew what was happening, Bill, like a fucking drug pusher, had a huge number of computer users dependent on him and his elegant [NOT!] MS-DOS. The rest is history. . .a history of power abuse.

Wow.. someone shorter than Bill Gates. I met and interviewed him back in 1993 (HP Omnibook press event) and was surprised that he wasn't as tall as I thought he would be.
