Yeah, most of his stuff makes a good initial sight gag- but always seems to kinda sputter out and not reach it's potential. He does some great impersonations and has some decent gags, but I always feel "it could have been funnier".

@omfgitsdon: Due to contractual obligations at my workplace, a pitifully slow internet connection is the only one available to us, and when anybody downloads a youtube video, it slows down the whole office. Since I'm on hold with warranty support for some office hardware, I have plenty of time to voice my opinion of caliento.
Plus, the bandwidth "wasted" on posting a comment is negligible.
I also love the fact that you say you've got too much on your plate to bother with it, yet you obviously have the time to comment on me.

I can't get enough of his Madden impression, it's always very funny. Other stuff, not as much...I just want him to get on with it and get back to his Madden impression.

But here's my complaint: I can't believe I spent time on this thread knowing I wouldn't be able to watch the video from work. Screw you gizmodo, not cool. I don't like this thread and it wasn't funny, because my work doesn't allow me to watch this video.

I saw the headline and thought, "Wow, I guess this guy finally did a sketch thats funny and worth watching". I proceeded to watch said clip. Well it's not funny and not worth watching.

This guys show is HORRIBLE. I watched the first episode ONLY becuase they HYPED IT SO MUCH during the baseball playoffs that it was cemented in my brain to watch the premiere. Well I could only stomach through half the show. It was not funny. Add to that, he's not funny on the Fox Football pregame either. This dude is just not funny. Is Frank TV even still on the air?

he's pretty good, except he makes Andy almost a likable grampa, where in real life he's one of those old guys that say "anything that falls in my lawn is mine so you are not getting you football back".

I find Caliendo funny when he's being...himself. He calls into a local radio show from time to time when he's coming around on tour, and when he tells stories as himself and randomly breaks out the Madden or the Bush, it's actually funny. FrankTV stretches the limits of his impersonations, and they can't hold up in 3 minute segments.

That said, I love this clip because I make the same jokes about Andy Rooney.

I never had a desire to watch the show, but now I might. This was actually pretty funny. Especially when he tries to hang up the phone. It's not how well you imitate someone, it's what you do with it.

I'm a stickler for details, but it was funny to see a rubber sensor pad fall out of the iPhone when he smashed it onto the table. I suppose breaking a $400 device wasn't worth the clip.

I must disagree with those saying anything positive about this dude. This kind of act was totally outdated in the 90's. And his impersonations are not even as good as those featured on SNL. So seriously, I love the wasting time venue that Giz provides... it is better than my work. And I'm not saying that I'm upset that you put somthing like this that just isn't really all that good. I'm just saying that Frank sucks. I even change the channel when it's just a commercial about this dude.

@evan394: I thought I was the only one that went so far as to change the channel whenever a commercial for his show pops up. Having a guy impersonating George Bush pop up on my tv screen every eight minutes isn't going to entice me to watch your show. Nope, sorry, Dr Phil impressions aren't going to help you either.
