We previously brought you news of Axiotron’s brilliant Modbook, which is essentially the first real Macbook tablet. Although it’s Apple authorized, it is not an official Apple product, obviously. Nevertheless, the guys at Axiotron have gone to work on an item all fanboys are lusting after, and the end result is looking rather tasty.
As we stab away at the keyboard in a drunken stupor hazy daze on this much too sunny New Year’s Day, Gizmodo AU would like to wish all its readers a fantastic 2008!
We’ll be back tomorrow to post all the latest tech and gadget news, reviews and goss. More »
Our official Gizmodo Reader of the Year for 2007 is David Bacio, also known as Deputy Sheriff David Bacio. He was one of the runners-up in the Inappropriate Gizmodo Browsing contest, submitting a picture of himself in front of a computer reading Gizmodo while at the station. So why is he the reader of the year? Because some douchebag called up his Sheriff, made a complaint, which ended up in a punishment for him just for being a loyal Giz reader.
