Flying Saucer Surge Protector Keeps All Plugs Separate
Posted by Jason Chen at 9:40 AM on December 20, 2007
There have been many solutions to the problem of fat AC adapters clogging up your surge protectors (like this), but this ezSpace UFO flying saucer protector from ezGear looks like it can actually be filled with all AC adapters without colliding. The secret is that it's pretty huge and shaped like an flipped-over bowl, but it does the job in four and six-plug versions. There's even a wall-mounted version as well. The first products will ship in January. [EZGear]

Yeah, I just can't picture being able to hide this monstrosity behind my computer.

In the first picture all the power adapters are upside-down.

I do not know how the price compares, but, "Power-squid" has, already, solved this problem---and thrown in surge-protection, in a design that is a bit less obtrusive!

I like it. Right now I have my XM, my router, and my modem all plugged in the same extension cord. meaning I have 3 unusable slots that I can't reach.
this and that Octopus Extension cord thing are the coolest things ever. in line extension cords - a thing of the past.

@lunarstreaker: Dang, should have refreshed before commenting, lol. At least there is someone else who realizes how handy powersquids are.
